Getting Started with Feedback Flock
School Year Success Guide
Whether you’re looking for specific help or just launched your school on Feedback Flock, this guide is here to help set you up for success.
I. Getting Logged In
After signing up or starting your district, be on the look out for your email from Feedback Flock with subject “Your [School] account is ready” containing your School and Temporary Password. You can also immediately sign in with Google Single-Sign On with the same email you used to create your school or district.
II. Creating Your Observation Forms
Whether you’re looking to make your Formal or Informal Observations, Pop-in, Lesson Plan Review, Beginning of Year Reflection or End of Year Review, you can use our drag and drop custom form builder to make any number of observation forms.
III. Setting Observation Requirements
Observation Requirements are rules you set to help improve accountability, ensuring users receive the predetermined number of Observations and complete any necessary Self Evaluation Forms. Rules can be set based on years taught at the school.
IV. Adding Your People
Adding new users can be done from the people tab individually or in bulk with a properly formatted .csv spreadsheet. Roles must be assigned at the time of import, but can be changed at any time thereafter.
V. Running Your First Observation
Now for the exciting part, it’s time to conduct some observations! Launch your first Observations straight from the Dashboard or Observations tab. After you submit, be sure to review and release the Observation to the teacher.
VI. Scheduling Future Observations
You’ve had some time to get into your first Observation and realized you need someone in there helping you getting all these Observations scheduled. Learn how to add a scheduler and populate your calendar with future Observations.
VII. Need Some Additional Help?
